Club Cottage

With an overwhelming desire to escape city life for long walks surrounded by nature I was delighted to find my dream holiday home at the boutique Club Cottage Estate in Burnham Green.

I liked the fact that Club Cottage Estate only has a small selection of beautiful park homes, set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. There are so many beautiful walks to choose from and when I feel like some retail therapy I can take a short drive to Welwyn Garden City. It wasn’t just the country walks and village pubs that attracted me to Club Cottage it was the fact that this beautiful Park home estate is open 365 days a year so I can holiday when I like for as long as like. A real hidden gem.

Swainswood

My wife and I are ex-patriots living in Florida USA. We were looking for a summer home near our family who live in the Stoke on Trent area. We found the lodges at Swainswood Park on the internet and were impressed with the pictures of the lodges and the layout of the park. We flew in for the weekend to see the lodge with our family. We were very happy with all the aspects of the lodge and the negotiated price. We made the decision in a few minutes as it met all our requirements of being within a hour of the family, in the country and convenient to Birmingham International Airport.

Our first visit to the park we found the staff were always very helpful in addressing any questions and problems quickly which made our visit very pleasant.

We also met and made friends with our neighbours. They offered us transport to the shops as we have no car. Plus they gave us direction of walks through the National Forest.

We have been so pleased with our Lodge that we changed our plans and spent four weeks over Christmas and the New Year and we will also be spending more time here than we had first planned.

Along with our family, my husband and I recently bought a luxury holiday lodge from Tom Hartley, situated in the lovely Swainswood Park. We can’t speak highly enough about Tom and his staff who have been so helpful at every step of the way and continue to be.

After years of city dwelling, we have now spent 2 weeks in our lovely holiday home and are already feeling more relaxed surrounded by beautiful countryside walks in which to exercise us and our dog. Of course there are many attractions suitable for the young grandchildren who can’t wait to return and chill out in the hot tub on the decking.

Dear Mr T. Hartley,

We have property in Spain but needed a home here to stay when we visited family and friends without imposing on them.

We found our dream place at Swainswood Park and we were fortunate to purchase a leisure home from yourself. Our new leisure home is excellent with the site having views over the National Forest Park, is very quiet, private and secure with the maintenance kept to a very high standard.

Thank you Mr.T Hartley for our perfect home.

Mr and Mrs Vernum.

Dear Mr Hartley

I would like to say how pleased we are with the purchase of our new Lodge on Swainswood Park. We looked at several other locations but as we have a home by the beach in Spain wanted somewhere in the UK where we could visit family & friends and this area is ideal.

The Park is a perfect base to relax or visit local countryside attractions and we found the staff extremely friendly & helpful in every way, nothing was too much trouble.

The whole experience of the Lodge purchase was very smooth and Mr Hartley and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful and I would certainly recommend Swainswood, Derbyshire to anyone thinking of buying a Lodge in the UK.

Dear Mr Hartley

I have recently purchased a holiday lodge on the picturesque Swainswood Park for myself and my family. The interior is spacious boasting two bedrooms and bathrooms, it is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard.

We enjoy taking walks in the National Forest knowing that when we return we can step into our hot tub with a glass of wine and totally relax whilst enjoying the spectacular views of the forest. I also find it reassuring to know that there is a manager on the park 24/7 so any problems or questions are addressed promptly with the politeness and professionalism you would expect from a park of this standard.

We are extremely happy with our lodge and will be recommending it to our friends.

Amington Park

Dear Tom

I have lived at Amington Park for the pass 3yrs and during that time, I have enjoyed living there immensely. It gave me the feeling that I was continually on holiday, the neighbours have been very friendly, helpful and considerate.

I will miss living at Amington Park so much, I will always remember view as I turned off at the bridge, to see the wide open countryside, the fields and the horses. It has been lovely, thank you Tom.

Cudworth Park

Living at Cudworth Park right in the country is safe and quiet away from noise and trouble, defiantly a good environment with only 57 homes and only people over 50 years old everyone knows each other and therefore anyone needing help when not 100% fit for any reason can rely on friends and neighbours at anytime for doctors appointments or shopping etc.

Cudworth Park has its own bowling green and pavilion where all through the summer anyone can play or just watch and have a cup of tea and a chat. Many parties are held there as well as fish and chips nights and of course new years eve, it’s a place where the whole park can get together, everyone is welcome and it’s a good way for new residents to get to know everyone else.

Newdegate is a pleasant village in Surrey. Nestling within its boundaries in Cudworth Park, a nice well kept park in which to live, The park itself is kept clean and tidy, also friendly and also has lots if nice gardens. A very tranquil area even though its only a short drive to Gatwick Airport.

A nice feature is the bowling green. One can meet up with neighbours and either have a go at bowling or just sit and watch, relax and have a chat. If considering this part of the country to live Cudworth Park is well worth a visit

Making retirement plans or perhaps you’re already retired – heard the expression “Escape to the Country”, well i know just the place. A park home site set in the very heart of Surrey countryside yet within easy reach of all facilities. Cudworth Park offers a tranquil setting where you can quietly go about your life without interference but at the same time enjoy a community spirit that offers support and help should you need it. How many park home sites have their very own bowling green? Just check it out you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I chose Cudworth Park some time ago and even following a personal tragedy I’ve never regretted my decision.
